Soccer is in full swing

Well last night both Little Bear and Tana had thier first soccer games. They both did a great job and they were so freaking cute in thier gear. Here is a picture of each of them. It was great to see them out there running around and making new friends.
So for the next 2 months it will be
soccer every Wednesday and Saturday. The really cool thing they are completely exhausted when we get home.

Cheer Camp/Soccer Starts

Well Sierra & her Cheer Crew were as happy and excited as you could imagine as we dropped them off for their 4 day cheer camp. They are staying in dorm rooms up at the U of U. Sierra looks so cute in her uniform. I will post some pics of her in it when she gets back with the camera. She is the flyer of course because she is the runt of the team. Please pray for her- It scares the crap out of me to think of her being thrown around.

Tana had her first soccer practice. Their coach is about 16 and you can tell he is a great player- they were doing all kinds of drills and their practice was about 90 minutes. We are use to practicing 10 minutes before the game starts- so that was fun to see Tana actually learning some skills. She is so funny, everytime she grabs the ball with her hands, she will grab her head and say "Ugghhh!!". She makes us laugh. "Go Orange Dragons"

Tana and Justice both have their first game tonight. We are excited to cheer them on.

Crazy Weekend

We had such a crazy weekend. Sierra was dancing her little heart out at the Stars National Competition from Thursday-Saturday. We lucked out this year because they had it in Salt Lake and we did not have to travel. That was nice. She did well on her solo and won 1st runner up. Her competition was pretty stiff and she competed against 12 girls. So she should be very proud of herself. She worked very hard on her solo this year and it shows. Her team did great and held their ground against those fantastic California teams. They won a few first places that they were really happy about. It was a fun weekend for Mom and I just watching all the teams and their creativity. We miss not having our studio- but it sure is nice to just watch the chaos!!

Tana and Justice got their soccer teams organized, and got their uniforms. They are so excited. They will both play on Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Justice will have practice just before the games, and Tana will have practice on Tuesdays. So it won't be as crazy as I thought. I am excited to see them running around. Especially Justice- it is his first shot at soccer. So we will see how it unfolds.

During all this excitement our water heater sprang a leak. So Eric and Dad spent all Saturday putting in a new water heater. Luckily Eric noticed their was a problem before we had a major catastrophe. Thank goodness for men!!

I got a new calling for church. I am the coordinator for our stake primary parade entry for the 24th of July parade downtown. I have no idea what we are going to do- but we have decided to do a float???? I am scared, but it will be fun.

We hope to relax today- but we will see how the day unfolds.

Deck Part 2

After almost 2 months the deck is now fully operational. I still need to put up the railing and lighting but at least the dog and go out the back door now. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Thanks to Tooele Dad for letting me use his saw and thanks to Officer Dad for helping me mix cement and create the stairs. I could not have done it without them. Last but certainly not least thanks to my family for not killing me for taking so long to get it done.
Here are a few pictures.
yesterday was Father's Day and My family got me a new gas grill. It is so nice. It has a side burner which is something I have always wanted. It looks great on the deck. When teh deck is all finished we will have to have a BBQ.

Father's Day

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!! It still freaks me out that we are parents and that we have our own little family. How did this happen? We fell in love- and that love grew into 3 kids. I am so proud of Eric. He is a great dad. He is usually the "heavy", the enforcer of the rules, the one to make sure they go to bed on time and scolds them when they don't respect their mom. I am so appreciative of this. These are jobs I am not good at- so it is a good thing he is!! He fixes everything that needs fixing- our cars, the house, toys, projects at work, problems at home, he is amazing. We are lucky to have him as the DAD in our home! We love ya Eric/Dad!

Also Happy Fathers Day to my dad- who is also amazing at everything he does. He has let me grow up at my own pace and let me make mistakes so that I could learn from them. He has never criticized me even when I made some really stupid choices- we won't discuss them- but we both know what they where. I feel lucky to have such a great guy as my dad. I try to be like him as a mom- it is hard. I find myself trying to make all my kids choices for them and trying to rescue them from things that I know will not turn out right. But in the end I think, "why am I the only one learning a lesson from this? These kids need to make mistakes so they can learn from them." My dad is a wise grasshoppa!! My new montra is : "Be like dad"

Little Bear Graduated

Well, little Bear had his preschool graduation yesterday. He was so handsome dressed in a shirt and tie. He was so excited. Now it is on to Kindergarden. I can't believe it. As part of the program each child stood up and said what they wanted to be when they grow up. It was so cute. Among the answers were, Batman, and dirtbike rider, baseball player, princess, a hunter were the most popular. Little Bear walked up to the mic and said "Hi. When I grow up I want to a teacher." I was so proud. Here are some pictures of the event.

Return from Mexico

Well I am back from the all work and no play trip to Mexico. It was a great trip. I had to do a presentation and I think it went well. We had to play on the beach with the distributors, which was tough duty but somebody had to do it. Here is picture of the beach. This picture was taken right off my balcony. I know rough life.

On Saturday night there was a gala dinner with an awards ceremony and dinner and dancing. I had to wear a tux so here is a picture of that. Included in this picture is the Mexico office staff. I must say that I look pretty good in a tux.
All in all it was a great trip. I bought some clothes for the kids and a shawl for Jenn and a paraglider dude for Little Bear. The food was good and the people were great as well. The honey and I are planning a trip for our anniversary. She will love it.
See you next trip.
